Keeping the Favorites while moving a user from one group to another
Favorites are specific to the individual user who marks demos and folders as favorites. However, when a user moves from one group to another, there are some important behaviors to be aware of.
-
A user moves from one group to another:
- If the user still has access to a demo or folder they previously marked as a Favorite, those demos and folders remain visible and available, and they remain marked as Favorites.
- If the user no longer has access to a demo or folder they previously marked as a Favorite, those demos and folders are no longer visible or available to that user.
- A reseller moves from one group to another:
The Favorites are no longer kept for the reseller.
-
- If the reseller still has access to a demo or folder they previously marked as a Favorite, those demos and folders remain visible and available, but they are no longer marked as Favorites.
- If the reseller no longer has access to a demo or folder they previously marked as a Favorite, those demos and folders are no longer visible or available to that reseller.
If the reseller is moved back to the original group where the Favorites were created, they will again see their previously created Favorites.
