Step 1 — Consensus Platform Basics

Step 1 of the new-user onboarding sequence. This article walks through the core surfaces of Consensus so you know where everything lives before you start building.

The left-hand sidebar

• Create — entry point for new demos.
• Share — create DemoBoards (sales) and Public Links (marketing).
• Library — your account's Demo Library and Dynamic Tours.
• Leads — captured leads from Public Link forms.
• DemoBoards — Track DemoBoards.
• Public Links — Track Public Links.
• Analytics (Demolytics) — Summary, DemoBoard, and Public Link demolytics.
• Partners — Resellers (if your account uses Reseller features).
• Settings (gear, bottom-left) — Manage Users & Access, Global Demo Settings, Mail Merge integration.
• Your avatar (bottom-left) — My Profile and Logout.

Three things to do first

• Complete your My Profile (contact info, time zone, date format). Click your avatar in the bottom-left.
• Record a Default Personal Intro Video (PIV) — short video card that plays before your DemoBoards.
• Browse the Demo Library (Library → Demos) to see what content your team has already built.
