Hubspot Native Integration
What is it?
The new native Consensus app for HubSpot connects through secure OAuth 2.0 and gives you more control over what syncs and how demo engagement is attributed. Demo Views and New Lead events sync to matching Contacts, Companies and Deals, with a custom object View record for each sales and marketing view.
New in this app:
- Improved attribution: Views are tied to the contact's primary company, and to the company and/or deal selected when the DemoBoard was created.
- More configuration options: Add domain filtering rules and choose whether to create a new contact and/or company when no match is found.
- CRM Sync: Choose from your own HubSpot companies and deals when creating a DemoBoard, and automatically add recipients from the selected deal.
Going forward, this is the HubSpot app Consensus will support. The current integration is planned for deprecation no later than April 2027, so we recommend testing and planning your migration soon.
Benefits
- Seamless setup: Connect once with OAuth and configure sync settings in a few clicks.
- Demo analytics where reps work: Demo Views appear on Contacts, Companies and Deals, and New Lead events surface buyer interest in real time.
- No manual data entry: Contacts and companies are created automatically when no match is found, without overwriting existing values.
- Better attribution: The Demo View → Contact → Company → Deal chain shows how demos influence pipeline and revenue.
Set up
- In the Consensus web app, go to Integrations and find the HubSpot tile (Admin permissions required).
- Connect your HubSpot account with OAuth 2.0.
- Configure your sync settings: New Lead events, Demo View events, auto-create of Contacts/Companies, and CRM Sync.
How to Use
Once connected, Demo View and New Lead events sync automatically. When creating a DemoBoard, select one of your HubSpot deals or companies so engagement is tied to the right record from the start.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: If a matching contact exists, will this overwrite existing data?
A: No. The integration doesn't overwrite existing values.
Q: Do I need to migrate historical engagement data from the old integration?
A: No. Data syncs to the same custom object.

Salesforce Integration Upgrades
Version 11.13 of the Consensus Salesforce managed package brings several upgrades that put more buyer and demo data where your teams already work.
Discovery Questions and Responses: Discovery questions and the answers prospects give inside your Consensus demos now sync to Salesforce. A new Discovery Q&A custom object, linked to each Demo View, holds one record per question and answer, so reps can see what a buyer said — not just that they watched.
Saleo Revenue Attribution: Saleo now connects to your Salesforce through the Consensus managed package, so every Saleo Live and Saleo Demo Agent session can be tied to an Account and the revenue that follows. Two new Account fields show demo engagement at a glance:
- Saleo Influenced: Set to true when an account has had at least one Saleo Live session.
- Saleo Agent Influenced: Set to true when an account has had at least one Saleo Demo Agent session.
A new Revenue Analytics dashboard in Saleo shows Total Revenue Influenced (Closed Won), Pipeline Influenced (open) and Accounts Influenced, with Live and Demo Agent reported separately.
Select Any Open Opportunity in CRM Sync: The Select Opportunity dropdown in CRM Sync now lists all open Salesforce opportunities, so you don't have to pick an account first. When you choose an opportunity, Consensus fills in the related account automatically, in both the web app and Snap. Closed opportunities are excluded from the list and from auto-match.
Salesforce Account Merges: When accounts are merged in Salesforce, Consensus now finds every DemoBoard linked to the deleted (losing) account and automatically reassigns it to the surviving account.
Cleaner Managed Package: Version 11.13 removes deprecated fields and unused metadata from the package. Custom fields on standard objects deprecated in version 11.7 are now removed from layouts, record pages, report types and reports, and unused flows and classes are gone. Two reports that relied on the long-unpopulated "Has DemoBoards" field have also been removed, along with their tiles on the Consensus Sales Demolytics dashboard:
- Opportunities w/ DemoBoards Report
- Closed Opportunities Report
In their place, use the custom report type Consensus Opportunities, which includes Opportunities, DemoBoards, Invitations and Views.
Benefits
- Reportable buyer insights: Discovery Q&As are structured records, so you can report on answers and spot buying signals and objections across your pipeline.
- Richer opportunity records: Qualification data captured in the demo improves forecasting and cuts context switching before follow-ups.
- Prove demo ROI with real revenue data: See which open and won opportunities followed a Saleo demo, with human-led and AI-led demos tracked separately.
- Easy to report on: The Saleo flags are standard Account fields you can use in list views, reports and dashboards.
- Minimal footprint: Saleo writes only the two Account checkboxes and never creates or changes leads, contacts, opportunities or activities.
- Faster, more accurate CRM Sync: Pick the opportunity first and the account fills in automatically, with only active pipeline in the list.
- Engagement stays on the right account: DemoBoards follow the surviving account after merges, so reporting stays complete with no manual relinking.
- Simpler layouts and reports: Record pages and reports use only actively maintained fields, and deprecated fields no longer count toward your custom field limit on standard objects.
Set up
- Install or upgrade the Consensus Salesforce managed package to version 11.13 or later.
- If your org is on version 11.12.3 or below and connects with a pasted API key and secret, reconnect once using the new OAuth flow.
- Check permission sets and grant users access to the new Discovery Q&A object. For new installs, see the install and configure guide.
- Saleo customers: In Saleo, start the Salesforce connection, log in and approve the access request. For tighter security, use a dedicated integration user with the Salesforce Integration (API Only) license.
- Optional: Add "Saleo Influenced" and "Saleo Agent Influenced" to Account page layouts, list views or reports.
How to Use
- Discovery Q&As: Send a Discovery Demo with discovery questions as you do today. When the prospect answers, the Q&As sync with the Demo View — open them from the DemoBoard → Invitations → Views → Question Answers, or use the object in your reports.
- Saleo attribution: Assign Live sessions to a Salesforce Account during or after the demo. Demo Agent sessions match automatically by the buyer's email domain — review unmatched sessions and track influence from the Revenue Analytics page.
- CRM Sync: When creating a DemoBoard in the web app or Snap, choose an opportunity from the Select Opportunity dropdown and the account fills in automatically.
- Account merges: No action needed — DemoBoards are reassigned automatically when accounts are merged in Salesforce.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where do discovery answers appear in Salesforce?
A: In a new Discovery Q&A object related to the Consensus Demo View record. Each record holds one question and the prospect's answer.
Q: Can I report on discovery answers?
A: Yes. Because Q&As are stored as a custom object, you can build standard Salesforce reports and dashboards on them.
Q: How does Saleo decide if an opportunity was influenced?
A: An opportunity counts if it was open when the demo happened, or was created within 30 days after it, and its close date is on or after the demo date. Each opportunity is counted once, even if several demos touched it.
Q: Does Saleo store any Salesforce data for the Revenue Analytics dashboard?
A: No. Opportunity data is read when the dashboard opens and results are calculated on the fly.
Q: What happens if we disconnect Saleo?
A: Access is revoked right away. Checkboxes already set on your Accounts stay in place, and your admin can clear them manually.
Q: Why isn't a Demo Agent session showing on the right account?
A: Demo Agent matches the buyer's email domain to the Account's website. If they don't match, the session stays unassigned and you can assign it from the Revenue Analytics page.
Q: I used the Opportunities w/ DemoBoards or Closed Opportunities reports. What should I use now?
A: Use the custom report type Consensus Opportunities, which includes Opportunities, DemoBoards, Invitations and Views.
Q: Why don't closed opportunities appear in the Select Opportunity dropdown?
A: CRM Sync lists only open opportunities so you see active pipeline. Closed opportunities are also excluded from auto-match.
Discover Agent (Talkables) in Consensus Demos
What is it?
You can now add the Consensus Discover Agent directly to Consensus demos in the Demo Builder. Talkables play inside the Consensus player as part of your Single and Flow demos.
- Single demos: Add a Talkable to a Single demo.
- Flow demos: Add Talkables as nodes in a Flow demo.
- Publishing: A Talkable counts as content, so a demo that contains one can be published.
- Flow thumbnails: Generate a Flow demo thumbnail from a Talkable.
Benefits
- Interactive discovery in any demo: Bring AI-led discovery conversations into the demos you already send.
- Flexible demo design: Mix Talkables with your other content in Flow demos.
How to Use
In the Demo Builder, open a Single or Flow demo and add a Talkable as content (Single) or as a node (Flow), then publish as usual.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How many Talkables can I add to a demo?
A: One per Single demo. Flow demos have no limit.
Q: Can I add Talkables to Standard demos?
A: No. Talkables aren't supported in Standard demos.
Q: I don't see Talkables in the Demo Builder. How do I get access?
A: Contact your Customer Success Manager to confirm Talkables is enabled for your account.
Search in Video Transcripts via Consensus MCP
What is it?
Search through the Consensus MCP Server now looks inside the spoken words of your videos, not just demo names, descriptions and metadata. When you ask your AI assistant (for example, Claude) to find demo content, it can surface videos where the topic is discussed, even if it isn't in the title or description.
Transcript search extends keyword search rather than replacing it. Your existing filters and permissions still apply, and demos without transcript matches still appear through standard keyword matching.
Benefits
- Find the right video faster: Locate content by what's said in it, without retagging or rewriting descriptions.
- Higher content ROI: Existing videos become more discoverable automatically.
- No workflow disruption: Current search behavior, filters and permissions work exactly as before.
- Better AI-assisted workflows: AI assistants can pull more relevant demo content into deal prep and sales conversations.
Set up
- Make sure your organization's Enable AI setting is turned on.
- Connect your AI assistant to the Consensus MCP Server.
How to Use
There's no new UI to learn — ask your AI assistant to find demo content through the Consensus MCP, and results will include matches from video transcripts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does this work on videos I uploaded before this release?
A: Yes. Existing video transcriptions are included, along with any new videos going forward.
Q: Will this affect my existing search results?
A: No. It extends keyword search, so your existing filters, permissions and keyword-based results continue to work as before.
Q: What if my organization doesn't have AI enabled?
A: Search continues to work as it does today, using keyword matching only. Transcript matching requires Enable AI because transcripts and search terms are processed by an AI model.

Easy Sharing in Snap
What is it?
Creating and sharing a DemoBoard in Snap is now a guided three-step flow: pick your demos, add recipients, then create and share. There are fewer fields to fill in, and you see a preview of your DemoBoard before it goes out.
Start from the Home page by selecting the demo(s) you want and clicking Share — no separate Create DemoBoard button needed. You can also filter and sort demos in Recents.
Benefits
- Faster sharing: Fewer steps and fields between picking a demo and sending it.
- Less manual entry: Choose recipients from your Gmail contacts or previously added recipients.
- Fewer mistakes: Review and edit a full preview of your DemoBoard before you send.
- Send without leaving Snap: Open a pre-filled email straight from the Chrome extension.
Set up
- Update your Consensus Snap Chrome extension.
- Optional: Connect your Gmail account from Integrations → Gmail to search your Gmail contacts and send from Snap.
How to Use
Select demos on the Home page and click Share, add recipients, then review the DemoBoard preview (name, thumbnail, demos, recipients, PIV and All Options). After the DemoBoard is created, choose Copy link, Insert thumbnail/button (or Save to workspace in Seismic), or Send.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I edit a recipient's information?
A: Yes. Click the recipient's name to edit their email, name and job title.
Q: Are all the previous DemoBoard options still available?
A: Yes. Most options now live in the DemoBoard preview at the final step, under All Options (for example, viewer access and Mark as test). The Organization field has been removed.
Q: Which email clients does Send support?
A: Gmail is currently supported.

Easy DemoBoard Sharing
What is it?
Sharing a DemoBoard in the Consensus web app now takes just a few clicks. A new Share DemoBoard modal, aligned with the Public Link creation modal, lets you copy a link, thumbnail or button, or send through Gmail from your own email account.
This release also includes:
- Left-hand navigation update: "Share" is now Create in the left navigation. Inside Create, the Share section includes DemoBoards and Public Links.
- Editable email templates: Each user can personalize their sharing email template in My Profile → Email.
- Share from the Demo Library: Create a DemoBoard straight from a demo using the share icon.
Benefits
- Faster sharing: Fewer steps from finding a demo to sending it.
- Familiar tools: Share from your own email account instead of a separate flow.
- Consistent, personal messaging: Each user's template keeps outreach on-brand and in their own voice.
- Stay in context: Share from Track DemoBoards without leaving the page you're on.
Set up
No admin setup is required. Users can optionally:
- Set an email template in My Profile → Email.
- Connect Gmail from the Integrations tab, or from the prompts in the Create DemoBoard flow.
How to Use
- Create a DemoBoard: Go to Create → DemoBoard, or select the share icon on a demo in your Demo Library and choose DemoBoard.
- Share a DemoBoard: After creation, the Share modal opens so you can copy the link, thumbnail or button, or send via Gmail. You can also click the Share icon in Track DemoBoards to open the modal over the table.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I send from my own email address?
A: Yes. Sharing opens your native email composer, so the email sends from your account.
Q: Where did "Share" go in the navigation?
A: It's now Create in the left navigation. Within Create, the Share section includes DemoBoards and Public Links.
Q: Can I customize the email?
A: Yes. Each user can edit their template in My Profile → Email.
Q: Can I sync contacts from my CRM?
A: Not in this release. Gmail is currently the contact source.

Create Public Links Through Consensus MCP
What is it?
You can now create a Public Link directly from your AI assistant using the Consensus MCP Server. Ask your assistant to create a Public Link for a specific topic, and it searches your Demo Library for the closest matching content, suggests the video, and creates the Public Link for you. An active Consensus MCP connection is required.
Search in Folders
What is it?
You can now search and filter directly within a folder in the Demo Library, instead of only browsing a folder's contents unfiltered. Search results scoped to a folder include content in nested subfolders, and filters such as tags and favorites apply within that folder.
Opening a folder automatically clears any active search filters, so you see the folder's full contents by default. Filters no longer carry over when you navigate into a folder, and demos you haven't viewed yet now show a new visual marker until you open them.
Video Splicing in the Post-Recording Editor
What is it?
You can now cut unwanted sections directly out of the middle of a recording with a single click and undo changes if needed. Instead of re-recording an entire demo to fix a mid-take stumble, slow load screen, or awkward pause, you can remove mistakes in seconds to quickly publish tighter, more polished videos for your buyers.
Download Recorded Videos
What is it?
You can now export your finished recordings directly from the recorder with a new Download button, complete with all trims, splices, and effects applied. Instead of keeping videos locked inside Consensus, you can easily pull polished copies to share wherever your audience is—including emails, LMS platforms, internal enablement hubs, and social media.
In-app Branding Updates
What is it?
The in-app visual identity, including logos and color palettes, has been updated to align with the refreshed Consensus brand. This release introduces a modern look and feel across the platform while keeping all existing functionality completely unchanged.
